In 1996, a groundbreaking discovery was made by Hong Kong-based chemist Antonio Siu.
He found an innovative blend of rice husks and plastic which, upon drying, reminkably resembled the texture and look of real wood. In collaboration with Bernd Duna, Siu further enhanced both the production process and the visual appeal of this novel substitute for tropical wood. Known as
Resysta a Green product awardee, this material has been successfully implemented in thousands of projects globally. Its durability and consistent appearance over the years have been noteworthy.
